Anglo American (AAL.L), Antofagasta PLC (ANTO.L), BHP Billiton (BLT.L), Glencore (GLEN.L), Rio-Tinto (RIO.L), Vedanta (VED.L) – The end of a six-week labor strike at the world’s biggest copper mine is reviving the bearish case against the metal. The union representing 2,500 striking workers will invoke a seldom-used legal provision to revert to the old contract for 18 months, ending the stoppage, after talks for a new deal failed. Closing price 1253.50p, 836.50p, 1255.00p, 321.65p, 3266.50p, 830.50p (Bloomberg)

Acacia Mining Plc (ACAA.L) – Are incurring a daily revenue loss of more than $1m due to a current export ban. The company will reassess how long they can continue to produce as normal if a ban remains in place, and what other measures may be necessary. Closing price 464.20p (Reuters)

BT Group Plc (BT.A) – The former U.K. phone monopoly and software provider Nutanix Inc. are among five information technology companies accused of bid-rigging by Hong Kong authorities, the first test of a 2015 law banning anti- competitive behavior. The Competition Commission on Thursday began proceedings in the Competition Tribunal against BT and California’s Nutanix.  Closing price 331.40p (Bloomberg)
