Acacia Mining – Lowers its guidance for FY production to lower end of 850-900k ounce range as a result of the Tanzanian export ban.

BHP Billiton – Miner’s Australian shares -2% overnight as Elliot Investors continue their activist attack on the business, this time attacking its proposed multi-billion dollar entry into the fertiliser market.

Paysafe (PAYS) – Is considering a cash offer of 590p from Blackstone and CVC Capital Partners having rejected an initial approach in May. The offer is a 34% premium to the company’s volume-weighted average share price in the first half of 2017.

Vodafone (VOD) – Has reiterated its FY guidance having seen growth in every region except UK and India, beating estimates, as business competition in the latter remains ‘intense’.
