Acacia Mining (ACA) – Following yesterday’s announcement that Tanzania will end its export ban, the gold miner has announced Q3 earnings declined from $53m to $16m as a result of the ongoing Tanzanian debacle, while revenues fell 40%.

Intercontinental Hotels (IHG) – The Holiday Inn owner announces that is sees 2017 trading in line with expectations as Q3 revenue per available room increases by 2.3%.

Interserve (IRV) – Only a day after a second profits warning in as many months, the outsourcer has been awarded a £227m contract by the UK government’s Department of Work and Pensions.

Smiths Group (SMIN) – The engineering group has extended its pension de-risking through a £207m bulk buy-in agreement with Canada Life.
