Unilever (ULVR) – H1 underlying sales +2.5% (vs 3% in 2017), profits -2.3%; Emerging market sales +4.1%, Operating margin +80bp; reiterates +3-5% sales guidance. Closing price 4210.50p (Bloomberg)

Anglo American (AAL) – CEO said Anglo had delivered another strong performance. Copper and Coal production +6%. Raised Platinum production guidance to 2.4-2.45m ounces and iron ore production also increased 2%. Closing price 1688.40p (Dow Jones Newswires)

Babcock (BAB) – Lowered FY revenue guidance due to temporary slowdown in defense / marine work. Now expects to see low single digit underlying revenue growth, compared with a previous forecast of “low mid-single digit” growth. Closing price 804.00p (Reuters)

SSE (SSE) Utility providers expects £80m/4.4% hit to FY adj. op. profit. Q1 weather impacted renewables production (Hydro & Wind 20% and 15% lower than planned), Gas consumption 10% lower than planned, Electricity Transmission & Distribution hit by high gas prices, lower output and lower consumption. Closing price 1386.50p (Dow Jones Newswire)

Sports Direct (SPD) –  FY revenue -1.8% at £ 3.36bn, missing consensus of £3.42bn, core earnings up 12% and up 3% on earnings before tax. The board decided not to pay a Dividend for 2018. Closing price 434.20p (Bloomberg)

Tullow Oil (TLW) –  Lost a dispute with partner Kosmos Energy for a cancelled rig contract in Ghana and now must cover almost $65 million in costs. Closing price 219.00p (Reuters)
