BAE Systems (BA.) – Qatar is to purchase 24 Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft it was announced over the weekend as defence secretary Sir Michael Fallon visits the country. The deal could be worth up to £2.1bn for BAE with each aircraft selling for £70-90m.

esure (ESUR)The Sunday Times reports that esure founder Sir Peter Wood is looking to sell his 30.7% controlling stake in the company, forcing a sale of the entire company itself. The newspaper reports that US names are leading the battle to land its assets.

Hiscox (HSX) – The insurer estimates that claims from Hurricane Harvey could reach up to $150m, while the company is yet to put a figure on Hurricane Irma’s impact on Florida.
