Rio Tinto (RIO) – said its Q2 iron ore shipments from Australia climbed 14%. Annual production is also forecast be at the upper end of its guidance. Closing price 4006.50p (Reuters)

Royal Mail (RMG) – Reported its total revenue for Q1 was +2% higher, however, letter revenue was down -5%, Closing price 480.20p (Bloomberg)

Marks & Spencer (MKS) – Said on Monday it would cut 351 jobs at stores across the country, seeking to make savings in a brutally competitive market. Closing price 310.61p (Reuters)

Galliford Try (GFRD) – Expects to see pre-exceptional full year results which are in line with guidance, with expectations for a further exceptional charge in H2. Closing price 833.00p (Reuters)

British Land (BLND) – Dividend +3%; Office Occupation 98%, 64% pipeline let/under offer (+10pts since May); Retail remains challenging, internet competition compounded by trading headwinds; Occupancy 96.4%; CVAs = 1.6% of rents, up from 1% in May. Closing price 651.80p (DJ)

TalkTalk (TALK) – Q1 net adds +80K, headline revenues +4.1% YoY -1.8% QoQ; FY guidance unchanged (headline EBITDA +15%, improved cash flow). Closing prices 109.80p (Bloomberg)

SSP (SSP) – Reported revenue for Q3 of +7.3%, with L-f-L Q3 sales at constant exchange rate rising +7.3%. Closing price 659.10p (Bloomberg)

Dairy Crest (DCG) – Said Q1 four Key Brands Sales climbed +6%, with Q1 in line with expectations and the full year outlook remained unchanged. Closing price 469.60p (Bloomberg)
