The below stocks have been identified as having potential to register bigger than normal share price moves (up or down) today based on the news cited

British Land (BLND) – The real estate owner swung to profit in H1 after a loss making first half last year, while net asset value increased by 2.6%.

GKN (GKN) – The company is expected to pay higher US charges than previously forecast as it announces the man slated to lead the company leaves with immediate effect.

Prudential (PRU) – A strong showing at its Asian business has helped the insurer increase profits through the first nine months of the year by 19% YoY. Meanwhile, new business profit has improved by 15% over the same period.

Royal Mail (RMG) – Pretax profits at the UK delivery service have fallen 30% in the first half of the year, led by a poor performance at its UK parcels and letters division, although this was in line with estimates. Volumes at the division fell by 3%, however revenues were flat after a negative FY 2016-17.
