Meggitt – signs $21m fuel cell contract with the US DLA for UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter programme. (DJ)

BAE Systems , Rolls-Royce, Meggitt, Babcock International, Chemring, QinetiQ, Cobham, Ultra Electronics – Defense and Aerospace stocks  could be sensitive to soundbites from the Farnborough International Air Show, where Defense Secretary Gavin Williamson is expected to reveal the UK’s future combat aircraft strategy. Indivior (INDV) – says US District Court for New Jersey grants preliminary injunction against Dr. Reddy’s, unable to sell, offer to sell, or import generic sublingual film pending outcome of patent litigation. (Reuters)

Rolls-Royce (RR) – designing a propulsion system for a electric vertical take-off and landing (EVTOL). A search for funding  has begun to help develop a project it hopes could be produced as early next decade. The flying taxi, which could carry four to five people at speeds of up to 250 miles per hour for approximately 500 miles. (Reuters)

UK Housebuilders (CRST, TW, BDEV, etc) – According to Rightmove, UK house prices fell for the first time in seven months, -0.1% MoM.  In London, prices slipped 0.5% with smaller apartments falling faster than bigger homes. The reduction in asking prices can “be a sign of a falling market,”. (Bloomberg)
