Kingfisher (KGF) –Sales in Q2 climbed 1.6% against a 0.4% fall in Q1 with a heightened demand for seasonal products due to the summer weather, when sales in Q1 were hit by winter snow storms across Europe. On track to deliver on targets for 2018, but Castorama was dragging on performance and it had taken steps which should lead to an improvement from the brand in H1 of the year. Closing price 288.09p (Reuters)

Glencore (GLEN) – QHG Oil Ventures, a joint venture between Qatar Investment Authority and Glencore, has valued a 14.2% stake in Rosneft, which it is selling, at €7.4bn. Closing price 298.40p (Reuters)

Marshalls (MSLH) – Sees net debt increase from £24.3m to £48.9m due to purchase of CPM for £41m, H1 revenue climbed 12% to £244m, operating profit climbs 13% to £33.5m from £29.8m previously Interim Dividend Up 18% To 4pp Share. Closing price 420.00p (Reuters)

Kaz Minerals (KAZ) –Announced a interim dividend of 6cents per share, seeing a growing trend for miners to focus on shareholder returns. H1 earnings climbed 20% to $690m versus $505m a year ago, citing higher sales volumes and competitive costs. Operating profit rose to $464m to $291m and copper output grew by 18%. Closing price 549.80p (Reuters)
