WPP PLC (WPP.L) – Allegations regarding Sir Martin Sorrell surfaced about his personal conduct as he quits as CEO of WPP Group after 32 years, saying ’it is in the interest of clients and stakeholders for me to step aside’. Closing price 1186.50p (Sky News / Bloomberg)

Shire announces sale of oncology business (no longer core) to Servier for $2.4bn, will consider returning proceeds via buyback
