Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) – Has declared an interim dividend of 2p to be paid on 12 October 2018 at the close of trade on August 24th after a $4.9bn settlement with the US DoJ. Closing price 242.00p (Reuters)

GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) –Sees positive 48-week results for VIIV HC Atlas Study in its first pivotal phase of trials for long injectable HIV treatment. Closing price 1563.20p (Reuters)

Hikma Pharmaceuticals (HIK) –  Saw operating profit rise 54% in H1 and saw revenue rise 11%, it  raised the full-year revenue forecast at its top two businesses, as it sold more injectable opioids in the US amid a supply shortage, and had a better-than-expected performance in  however, it does not expect the same demand for some of its injectable products to continue into 2019. Closing price 1640.00p (Reuters)

Admiral (ADM) – Posted H1 pretax profit that climbed +9%, due to demand for its insurance products. Motor profits also increased +11% to £249.2m vs £224.2m last year. Pre-tax profit rose to £211m from £193m y-o-y. It said the UK’s exit from the EU brought additional risks to the company, particularly the possibility of a ‘no deal’ Brexit. Closing price 1999.50p (Reuters)

Balfour Beatty (BBY) – Saw H1 underlying profit from operations rises 69% to £66m y-o-y. Its interim dividend was raised to 1.6pp share, +33%. Net cash climbed 127% to £366m against £166m last year. Divesting assets in infrastructure. On target to it H2 guidance and earnings. Closing price 290.50p (Bloomberg)

CLS Holdings (CLS) – Said profit after tax for H1 of £60.8m, with H1 EPRA net asset value per share 294.7p, earnings per share was at 6.1p. It raised its interim dividend up 7.3% to 2.2pp share y-o-y. I is focused on reducing cost of its debt with sale of assets to show growth and return cash to shareholders. Closing price 240.00p (Bloomberg)
