WPP (WPP.L) – Relocates its headquarters in Mayfair, London, back to a temporary head office to Sea Containers, the offices of WPP companies Ogilvy and Wavemaker on the south bank of the River Thames. The company has a global network of 130,000 employees but with a slim operation of 30 in head office.  Closing price 1234.50p (Bloomberg)

Esure (ESUR.L)Bain Capital Private Equity LP has agreed to buy the company for about £1.17bn, with an offer of 280pp share, 37% more than Fridays closing price. Closing price 267.60p (Reuters)

Royal Mail (RMG.L) – Will loge an appeal against the Competition Act within the next two months. Believing Ofcom’s decision will be overturned when subject to judicial scrutiny after previously being fined £50m, no fine is payable until the process for appeal is concluded. Closing price 461.80p (Bloomberg)

Antofagasta (ANTO.L) – Said H1 earnings were down -16.2% y-o-y siting trade tensions causing lack of clarity on copper demand. Growth for demand set to climb 2% however supply growth is constrained. It sees considerable shorter term market uncertainty with the outcome of current international trade negotiations unclear. Closing price 955.00p (Reuters)
