Movers & Shakers - 13 March 2018

The below stocks have been identified as having potential to register bigger than normal share price moves (up or down) today based on the news cited

Antofagasta (ANTO) – The miner has announced FY revenues improved 31% thanks to higher Copper prices, while EBITDA climbs 59%, its highest margin since 2012. Operating cash flow increased by 71% as net debt falls, allowing management to increase the FY dividend by 177% (67% payout); Copper production expected to grow quarter-by-quarter throughout the year, leaving other production guidance, costs and CAPEX unchanged.

Greencore (GNC) – The food producer has cut its FY18 outlook for adjusted EPS (of which two thirds is weighted to H2) to reflect business developments, as UK volumes weaker following poor weather, US also lower and current FX rates weigh. Profits warning.

Legal & General (LGEN) – The financial giant acquires full ownership of Cala Homes, an upmarket housebuilder, purchasing the final 52.1% it did not already own.

TP ICAP (TP) – The brokerage has announced cost savings almost three times higher than guided. FY revenues rose 4.1% as flat markets becalmed global volatility, however underlying pre-tax profits rose less than 1%.
