Rio Tinto (RIO) – Brokers Macquarie and RBC suggest Rio Tinto investors will want some of the proceeds of its $3.5bn Grasberg stake sale earmarked for capital returns and ask when/what it will buy next. Workspace (WKP)  – CEO said it sees “continued strong customer demand”. Exploring acquisition opportunities. Q1 average monthly enquiries -8.1% QoQ (-3.2% YoY) and lettings -4.3% (-7.4% YoY). Closing price 1079.00p (Bloomberg)

Ashmore (ASHM) – Q2 AUM -$2.6bn (-3%) with $2.6bn net inflows overshadowed by $5.2bn investment declines. Closing price 351.80p (Bloomberg)

Hays (HAS) – Q4 net fees +15% like-for-like; expects full-year operating profit marginally ahead of market expectations. Closing price 190.70p (Bloomberg)

DCC (DCC) – Group reiterated profit guidance for 2019, Q1 profit for 2018 was in line with expectations, well ahead of the previous year, profits weighted towards H2 of financial year. Stampede and Kondor acquisitions is £110m. DCC expecting to generate a return of 15%. Closing price 6915.00p (Reuters)
