Markets Overview:

The UK 100 is called to open -2 points this morning at 7556.    The UK 100 looks set to open slightly lower today, ahead of Non Farm payroll data which will provide further evidence as to the state of the health of the US economy.  It was a risk off feel on Wall Street yesterday also, The Dow dropped 194.76 points, or 0.56%, to close at 34,395.01. The S&P 500 closed down 0.09% to 4,076.57, however the Nasdaq gained 0.13% to end at 11,482.45.

GlaxoSmithKline says Jemperli Ruby phase III trial met its primary endpoint in interim analysis. They also announce that the EMA accepts their marketing authorisation application for momelotinib, a treatment for myelofibrosis, type of bone marrow cancer.

 

 

Ryanair reports that their November passenger traffic up 10% at 11.2m (Nov 2022: 10.2m).

 

 

ScS CFO Chris Muir is to step down in 12 months.

 

 

Softcat announces that their current CFO Graham Charlton is to be CEO designate before becoming CEO on Aug 1st. They have also hired ASOS interim CFO Katy Mecklenburgh as new CFO to join no later than mid-Jun.

 

 

Wizz Air reports November passengers came in at 3.7m, up 70% YoY at 88.1% load factor.
