Markets Overview:

The UK 100 is called to open +42 today at 7069.  A positive start is expected for the UK, this follows a mostly stronger session in Asia this morning, China’s Shanghai Composite slipped 0.19% while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index gained 0.29%, in Japan, the Nikkei 225 rose 0.60%.  Stateside yesterday saw the Dow Jones closing 63.07 points, or 0.2% lower, at 34,751.32 after falling as much as 274 points earlier in the trading session. The S&P 500 dipped nearly 0.2% to 4,473.75. The Nasdaq Composite bucked the trend and added 0.1% to close at 15,181.92.
