The UK 100 is called to open +10 points this morning at 7475. The UK 100 looks set to open modestly higher today despite UK GDP figures this morning showing that the economy had contracted in the second quarter amid the cost of life crisis. On Wall Street yesterday The Dow closed Thursday up 28 points, less than 0.1%, at 33,337, while the Nasdaq dropped 75 points, 0.6%, to 12,780 and the S&P 500 shed 3 points to 4,207.
