Pivot Point: 6450; Support 1, 2 & 3: 6409, 6383, 6342, ; Resistance 1, 2 & 3: 6476, 6517, 6543
The UK flagship index maintains its steady tick lower with another foray south towards long-term (4.5yr) rising support at 6380. Short-term support still limited to the overnight lows, as has been the case for a few days and the correction from October now stands at 6 weeks and 5.9%.
Momentum indicator holding, meaning possibility for a rebound but the index still needs to confirm with a move north itself. US political progress still perversely the taper-positive driver denting sentiment ahead of next week’s key (they always are aren’t they) FOMC meeting.
Watch levels: support 6400 and resistance 6500
