BHP Billiton (BLT) – 2018 Iron ore output +8%. Q4 production topped expectations and set a higher target for the current year. Petroleum, copper and coal met and exceeded expectations, shares in Asia climbed 3%. Closing price 1626.00p (Reuters)

Unilever (ULVR) –  Eyeing beauty chain Space NK. Manzanita Capital is said to be in advanced talks to sell with the Evening Standard reporting yet not disclosing the source of the information. Closing price 4180.00p (Bloomberg)

Easy Jet (EZJ) – Increased its FY profit guidance (£550-590m vs £530-580m) after passenger numbers +9.3% despite disruption; now expects H2 revs per seat (at constant FX) up low-to-mid-single digits vs. “slightly positive” disclosed in May. Revenue per seat was 4.8% higher. Its load factor for Q3 was 93.4% up 0.3%. Closing price 1662.00p (Bloomberg)

Ryan Air (RYA) – Plans to cancel just 1% of its flights during a Friday strike by Ireland-based pilots, however it may have to deal with far wider industrial action across five countries next week. Closing price 16.06c (Reuters)

GVC Holdings (GVC) –  Reported Q2 net gaming revenue +11% after the World Cup saw better than expected gross win margin, volumes and value of new customer deposits. UK retail revenue +2%, online gaming +22%. Closing price 1107.00p (Bloomberg)

Smiths Group (SMIN) – Profits warning on Medical division, as some products are suspended ahead of new EU 2020 regulations. FY revenue +3%, reflecting anticipated acceleration H2 growth rate. Closing price 1749.00p (Dow Jones Newswires)
