The UK 100 has started the week on the front foot again even though we could see some lower volumes with the US markets closed for President’s Day. We are now at February highs but still some 2.3% (160 points) away from 2014 highs. We have some big companies due to announce their results this week which could play a key role in determining the direction of the next move for the UK Index .
Possible resistance to the upside could been seen at 6700, 6725 before a possible push towards 6800. Support may be found at 6665, 6651, 6628 and again at 6614.
