Land Securities Group (LAND.L) – Third interim dividend 7.6p p/sh. -£5.4m of investment lettings signed since 1 October 2013, with a further £5m lettings in solicitors’ hands. Our significant committed programme of speculative developments is well placed. Closing Price 1045.00p (Reuters)

J D Wetherspoon (JDW.L) – Sales increased by 6.7% in Q2. Total sales up by 10.6%. Expect the operating margin for the half year ending 26 January 2014, to be around 8.1%. Closing Prices 789p (Reuters)

WH Smith (SMWH.L) – Total sales were down 4% with lfl sales also down 4. High street performed in line with our expectations, with total sales down 7% and lfl sales down 6%. Improvement in gross margin in both divisions. Confident in making further progress in the year. Closing Price 1016p (Reuters)

The Sage Group (SGE.L) Trading across all Regions remains in-line with expectations. Mainland Europe, the improved performance in the second half of 2013 was maintained in the first quarter of 2014. UK & Ireland delivered a good performance. The Americas maintained the strong performance reported in 2013. 413.10p Closing Price (Reuters)

BHP Billiton (BLT.L) – 16% rise in iron ore production in the quarter on a year earlier to 48.9m tns guidance for fiscal 2014 was maintained at 212m tns. 4% decline in petroleum but maintained its fiscal 2014 guidance of 250m barrels of oil equivalent. Closing Price 1854.50p (Reuters)
