Fresnillo (FRES.L) – Lowered its gold production guidance by 8.4% on Tuesday, after a ban on the use of explosives at a mining site continued, impacting its output. Closing price 742.00p (Reuters)

Lloyds (LLOY.L) – The bank said it would bolster its capital by selling its remaining 21% stake in wealth manager St James’s Place, worth about £700m. Closing price 78.20p. (Reuters)

Tui Travel (TUI.L) – Full year profit rises 13% beating company’s own forecast. Helped by higher margin holidays in UK and German markets. Underlying operating profit £555m for year to end of September. Closing price 384p. (Reuters)

Whitbread (WTB.L) – L-for-L sales up 4.3% up from a 2.8% rise in H1. Total group sales grew 13.8%. Sales at UK Costa Coffee stores up 4.9% in its Q3, with total sales up 20.4%. L-for-L sales Premier Inn, up 5.4% and 13.7% in total, restaurant business has underlying sales up 1.8%. Closing Price 3525.00p (Reuters)

Carpetright (CPR.L) – H1 underlying profit before tax £3m versus £4.5m. H1 revenue £222.2m, down 2.2%. H1 dividend nil versus nil. Anticipates trading conditions will remain challenging. Says expectations for the year as a whole remain unchanged. Closing Price 532.50p (Reuters)

Prudential (PRU.L) – Set new growth objectives driven by its Asian business, targeting at least £10bn of cumulative underlying free surplus generation by the end of 2017. “Our exposure to fast-growing sweet-spot markets, increasing demand for savings and protection products from a rapidly emerging and increasingly wealthy middle class, and our track record of execution underpin our two new 2017 objectives in Asia,” Group Chief Executive Tidjane Thiam said. Closing Price 1266.00p (Reuters)
