Bwin Party Digital Entertainment (BPTY.L) – Q1 average daily net revenue up 4% versus previous quarter but down 9% versus the prior year. Philip Yea will succeed Simon Duffy as chairman Closing price 125.00p (Bloomberg)

Centamin (CEY.L) – Sakuri mine fell 14% Y-O-Y in Q1 to 74,241oz, full-year production target would not be affected.  Quarterly throughput was 6%  higher than in the previous quarter.  Expects the mine to reach an annual production rate of 420,000 ounces of gold this year.  Closing Price 53.30p (Reuters)

 Evraz (EVR.L) – FY net loss of $572m vs. $425m last year. Revenue $14.4bn vs. $14.7bn last year. 6cents a share, may pay a special dividend in event of asset sales, Ukraine situation not affecting operations. Net debt increased by 2.5% to $6.53bn. Closing Price 78.95p (Bloomberg)

Tesco (TSCO.L) – Tesco is poised to sideline its marketing head in a fresh sign of the ongoing management turmoil at Britain’s biggest retailer, Sky News reported. Philip Clarke, Tesco’s chief executive, has decided to appoint a new chief marketing officer in place of Matt Atkinson, who has been in the role for just over a year. Closing price 287.85p. (Reuters)

Rio Tinto (RIO.L) and BHP Billiton (BLT.L) – Aluminium behemoth Alcoa reported better-than-expected first quarter results last night. Shares rose some 2.5% in after-hours trading. Closing Prices 3246.50p and 1940.00p respectively (Bloomberg).
