Technicals show potential for bearish reversal back to 2018 lows in March, after a 14% rally in just 3 weeks. German discount retailers Lidl and Aldi continue to take market share. A Bank of England UK interest rate rise in May could stifle consumer confidence. Analysts at HSBC (6 March) say Tesco continues to be the best of the UK Big 4. Sensitive to data including UK retail, jobs/unemployment/wages, inflation, etc.
