Markets Overview:

UK 100 called to open down 14 points at 7109; On the back of the worst days performance in 2019 yesterday, the markets are muted this morning.  Yesterday the UK Index fell 3.2% (giving up 238 points) and the Dow Jones fell 1.86% (giving up 494 points) however investors may find some solace in the fact that the Dow Jones did bounce 100 points from its lows, this sell off was a continuation of risk off following the lowest US manufacturing data read for a decade on Tuesday.  Oil continued to sell of out of hours also, settling $2 below its previous support of $60 to sit at $58 per barrel.  Traditional investor safe haven gold rallied yesterday to sit just shy of $1500.  Could we see sentiment change today as investors go shopping for “Bargains”?
