Kingfisher (KGF) – Missed forecasts with a 6.6% fall in Q3 profit of £223m, hurt by a soft market in France and adverse FX movements. That compared to analysts’ average forecast of £234m. Closing price 345.10p (Reuters)

Rolls-Royce (RR.) – Said it would launch a major restructuring programme, as its new chief executive Warren East gave further details of his plans to turn around the company by cost cutting up to £200m a year. Closing Price 569.00p (Reuters/CNBC)
